About Us

Ted Blocker Holsters was founded in 1972 by Ted and Jean Blocker. Both were skilled in competitive fast-draw shooting. On the David Frost television show shot at Knott's Berry Farm, Jean set a world record of .31 seconds only to be bested by Ted with a .29 second shot.

In 1999 the business changed hands to Don and Shelly Brown. Don continued the Ted Blocker tradition of making beautiful quality holsters, which led to a Ted Blocker Holsters Rig being presented to President Ronald Reagan.

In 2020 the company changed hands again, this time to Phyllis Devine. Phyllis and her family plan to keep the quality and craftsmanship of Ted Blocker Holsters alive for decades to come.

Top Quality Holsters

Ted Blocker Holsters does not currently have a Showroom. is located in Tigard, Oregon, approximately 12 miles south of Portland.

Skilled craftsmen use only the best top-grain vegetable tanned leather. All holsters are hand oiled, or dip dyed in our Southwest Washington facility. Refinished or "painted" split leather is not acceptable for Ted Blocker Holsters. Every Holster is molded to fit the gun, and over 550 gun models are available. All edges are sanded, beveled, buffed and finished with an edge coat.

We have taken care of the fitting of your gun to your holster. No need for you to apply creams or oils or dip into solutions. Your holster will have that custom fit for your gun when it arrives. We use quality vegetable tanned top grain leather to make quality holsters and accessories.

Attention to detail and customer service is what makes Ted Blocker Holsters stand out above the rest. All products are made, start to finish, in the USA!
